He was questioning the war policies of President Nixon. He also pointed that the silent majority doesn't mean that they are pro-war. Some are actually war veterans and veteran families who experienced the trauma and hardships of the war. He argued that the Congress does not really present the people and give legislations that are not real answers to end the war.
