What does mitosis do to help the human body

Mitosis is the system of reproducing cells by dividing them into smaller cells called daughter cells, these cells have the same number of chromosomes and almost identical nucleus as the parent cell, it's just an efficient way to reproduce cells. If a cell splits too much it will eventually die into a nothingness.

Mitosis is very important to the human body because it allows for the duplication of body cells. Human body cells constantly need to be created for many reasons such as that the body is constantly changing in size, and when someone gets hurt, mitosis is used to repair the damaged area whether it be internal or external.
