x = -6.5 because you make the equation; 0 = (11.5 + 12.5 + -10 + -7.5 + x)/5 and then you add up the top and get 0 = (6.5 + x)/5 then multiply by 5 and you get 0 = 6.5 + x then you subtract 6.5 and you get x = 6.5
