The British army were well uniformed, had greater numbers, and higher quality and quantity of weapons. The American army, however; dressed as the liked, had limited numbers and limited weapons. It was normal (during this time) for war to be fought where the opposing sides would face each other and fire. However, Americans thought outside the box and used a tactic called Gorilla warfare. This is when a group of people would ambush, sabotage, or would do a hit-and-run on the opposing side (the British).
