I NEED A MATH EXPERT.

A right rectangular prism has length 4 cm, width 2 cm, and height 7 cm. If the length, width, and height are halved, what happens to the surface area?
A: The surface area is doubled.
B: The surface area is multiplied by 1/4.
C: The surface area is multiplied by 4.

Answer:

The answer is 1/4

Explanation:

What you have to do is find the surface area of the retangle with the original demensions, then you find the surface area with the l, w, and h when divided by two. Then you multiple the first answer by the different options and 1/4 will get you the result from the second rectangle.

That answer was kinda word barf but I hope that makes sense.
