x * y = 48

x - y = 13
x - y +y =13 +y
x = 13+y

x*y=48
13+y * y =48
13y+y²=48
y = -16 y=3

x- y = 13
x - (-16) =13
x + 16 =13
x +16-16 = 13-16
x = -3

-3 - (-16) = 13
