Red mangrove trees have roots that prevent soil erosion in coastal areas. They also provide hiding places for the young of coral reef fish. The trees, however, don’t receive any kind of benefit from the coral fish. What kind of symbiotic relationship exists between the trees and the coral fish?

This type of symbiotic relationship is called commensalism, which is just a relationship where one organism is benefitted and the other is not harmed or benefitted. :)
