How to solve chemical reactions

2 Answers

Well, every chemical is different. Like, for water, the equation is

2H₂ + O₂ ⇒⇒⇒2H₂O

You just add the reactions together, and the answer is called your product.

Note that this "⇒" technically means "=".

Determine the reactants and products. In this case, the products are CO2 and H2O, determined by common sense. ...Apply the fundamental principle of conservation of atoms. ...Balance one type of atoms at a timeBR> We may use H or C to begin. ...Balance the oxygen atoms on both sides.
