Genotype relies on the genes a person receives from their parents and phenotype depends on what genes are present.

Step-by-step explanation:

Genotype depends on which gene a person gets from their parents where as phenotype is not only about what genes are present but which are expressed and to what degree, that is not inheritable. In phenotype we observe organism's outward characteristics and features that is harder to predict as people's appearances changes as their body changes while genotyping is the process by which differences present in the genotype of an individual are analyzed using biological essays.
