0.5 in. = 3 mi.
1 in. = 6 mi.
2 in. = 12 mi.
Add the 12 mi to the 3 mi. now and you'll get 15 mi.
So, 2.5 in. equals 15 miles, that will be your actual distance. Hope this helped.
