How many variable terms are in the expression 3x^3y + 5x^2 − 4y + z + 9?

There is three variables the "x", "y", and "z" variable they are not the same but it's the total of variables hope this helps *ik someone answered this already but oh well*

three. x, y, and z. terms are the total different variables, not the total number of variables.
