A sail on a sailboat is in the shape of a triangle. The area of the sail is 128 ft² and the base of the sail is 16 ft.

What is the height of the sail?

Formula for area of a triangle:
A =
(1)/(2) * base * height

You are already given two out of three variables of the formula.

128 =
(1)/(2) * 16 * height

Multiply 2 to both side and divide both side by 16

(128 * 2)/(16) = height
