At a video store you have 2 options for renting movies, you can pay $4 per movie or you can pay 10 dollar membership fee and then only pay 1.50/movie. After how many movie rentals will the membership price be less than the cost of renting movies without the membership?

You need to use PEMDAS. You don't have parentheses or exponents so you don't need to worry about that. So you multiply 2*7. That equals 14 now your problem is...

7-12/4+14.

Next you do division.

So 12/4 is 3.

7-3+14 equals.

Now you add 3 and 14.

7-17=

Now you subtract and get your answer.
-10 is your answer.
