Does the median of a data set have to be a value of the data set? Explain

no, because u might have to find the mean or mode and the median is always in the middle

The only time you will have have a value or a number as the median of a data set is when there is an odd amount of numbers in the data set.

However, if there are 2 numbers that are in the middle, we have to add them together and divide the sum by 2.
