Points scores with fours = 8 x 4 = 32
Points scored with sixes = 5 x 6 = 30
Points scored with singles = 70 - 32 - 30 = 8
Number of balls in which he scored no point = 30 - 8 - 5 - 8 = 9
i) probability of hitting sixes = number of sixes / total number of balls faced = 5 / 30 = 1/6
ii) probability of making a single run = number of singles / total number of balls faced = 8 / 30 = 4 / 15
iii) probability ofnot being able to score = number of times he was not able to score / total number of balls faced = 9 / 30 = 3 / 10 = 0.3
