the answer is 30ft. because it's the same distance on each side and the person only walked from one side to the other

B. 42 ft.

C. 52 ft.

D. 60 ft.

I believe the answer would be 42 ft. because the side lengths are 30 ft. and when you rotate the square, the length vertically increases. The corners are longer than the sides themselves.
