How does macbeth interpret the prophecies pronounced by the first three apparitions?

He doesn't interpret them. They are very vague for him and he thinks that they are impossible to occur since they tell him that he will be defeated by someone not born of a man and that a forest will attack him which all sounds insane to him. Of course he later realizes that those were metaphors but by the time he understands it it becomes too late.
