lets say seths height is S and jacks height is J
Ratio of S/J=3/4----------------------a
J=15+S-------------------------------------b

from a S=3/4J
J-15=3/4J
J=60 inches jack height
so S=45 inches seth height

The ratio of seths height to jacks is 3:4. If jack is 15 inches taller than Seth, what is Seths height?
