y=mx+b, m=(0-7)/(8-3)=-7/5

y=-7x/5 +b, using point (8,0)

0=-56/5 +b, so b=56/5 or if you prefer 11.2

....

If (5,5) is a point on the line y=x+b...

5=5+b, so b=0 and the line is just

y=x
