I'm learning about the renaissance and know quite a bit. Here it is. When humanist thinking began it caused people to believe in human abilities. The Muslim world much like many others began humanism thinking and started translating the Greek manuscripts they had. They also began to look into medical treatment and the Muslims began to spread this info across the world all the way to Europe.
