Cystic Fibrosis affects an estimated 30,000 children and adults in the United States alone. A person with this disease has thick and dehydrated mucus because it affects the lungs and the digestive system. It clogs the lungs of the people and will lead to life threatening lung infections. It also obstructs the pancreas and this stops the natural enzymes from helping the body to break down foods and to absorb foods.
