The Industrial Revolution brought masses of people from the countryside to the cities. Why? To have their new idea turn them into a wealthy person. To visit doctors due to the pollution in the air. To be closer to the ships headed to America. In hopes of getting a job at the factory.

The correct answer is D) in hopes of getting a job in the factory.

The reason the Industrial Revolution brought masses of people from the countryside to the cities was that they hoped of getting a job in the factory.

The Industrial Revolution represented a great opportunity for people to be hired in the factories that were located in large cities. In the country, people lacked opportunities to get better jobs. People form the country used to be farmers and they did not have the best living conditions. That is why many people from the countryside decided to abandon the farmers and go to the large cities in order to find a better job at the fabrics, and better living conditions for their families. Mass production changed the lives of many people.
