A) .05n + .10d + .25 q = 10.30
B) d +2 = q
C) n = 3q
Substituting equations B and C into A
A) .05*3q + .10(q-2) + .25 q = 10.30
A) .15q + .1q -.2 + .25q = 10.30
A) .50q = 10.50
21 quarters

C) n = 3q
C) n = 3*21
63 nickels

B) d +2 = q
d + 2 = 21
19 dimes
