2x-3=y and x-y=-4 rearrange both so that y is by itself on one side...

y=2x-3 and y=x+4 subtract second equation from first and you get:

0=x-7 add 7 to both sides...

x=7, now use this value for x in either original equation to solve for y...

y=2(7)-3, y=11 so the solution is the point:

(7,11)
