The correct answer is B. Stress

Alarm, resistance and exhaustion are three stages of the how the body responds to stress. It's called the GAS or General adaptation syndrome. The alarm stage can also be known as the fight or flight stage where your body knows something is up and your heart beats faster and your body is preparing to either face the stress or withdraw, resistance is when your body tries to resist or adapt to the stress either physically or emotionally or both and exhaustion is where all your energy has become used up.
