A triangle has a base of 3 feet, and a height of 6 feet. If its area is increased to 335 ft² by increasing the base and height by the same number of feet, what is the sum of the new base and height?

Can you please show how to do this. This question was confusing me.
Thanks.

so you have to find the area, because it says 335 ft². Then add 335 ft ² to the area. The answer is that sum. In otherwords, 9 plus 335
