2x² + 12x + 8 = 0
⇒ x² + 6x + 4 = 0

x = -6 + √(36 - 16) / 2 = -6+2√5 / 2 = -3+√5

x = -6 - √(36 - 16) / 2 = -6-2√5 / 2 = -3-√5
