It is said that in 2015 African countries received around 162 billion dollars in loans, aid and personal payments. The problem is that more capital leaves Africa than it is received, this is since multinationals deport profits and illegally move money into tax heavens. Anyways, campaigns to alleviate poverty in Africa of non-African countries profit more than most of the African citizens from the continent’s wealth.

To help alleviate poverty, money is given to Africa every year coming from different countries in Europe and America. For the past five years already, the United States gave $15 billion to Africa. Most of the money are allocated for education, health, the infrastructures and food.
