Why is the literacy rate for girls in Kenya and Sudan lower than it is for boys?

In most third-world countries, women are nothing more than a baby-making, and cleaning machine. They aren't supposed to be educated, because they could get "ideas". And heaven forbid a woman realized her life could be better, they refuse to teach them anyway.
