3^(2x-1)3^2=3^(2+x)3^x

3^(2x-1+2)=3^(2+x+x)

3^(2x+1)=3^(2x+2)

Because the bases are identical, so must be the exponents, meaning you have

2x+1=2x+2

but this has no solution.
