A base in geometry terms is the surface of a solid object stands on. The top of a solid object can also be a base, since it is parallel to the bottom. In other math terms, a base can be t

When doing exponents, the base is the number that is a factor, however many times the power is.
Ex. 2^3= 2*2*2
2 is the base and 3 is the power
x^4= x*x*x*x
x is the base and 4 is the power
