I hope this helps you

A=(a+b).h/2

2A=(a+b).h

2A/h=a+b

a=2A/h-b

a=2A-b.h/h

I think you mistyped a little, the Area of the trapezoid is (a + b) * h / 2, and then you can find the right solution, which is 2*A / h - b = a, but I cannot see this option either. You may mistyped the solutions as well.
