I believe that this answer is A.

So if you just eliminate the obviously wrong answer choices like B and D , you would see the closest answers . So now we have A and C . Now not having a passage or too much background knowledge about Abraham Lincon , my final answer is A . People think he was the best president because of this quality . He wanted to reunite the races , not separate them .
