Contrast how people in the middle ages and people in the scientific revolution at the physical world

In the Middle Ages all people only believed what the ancient Greeks and Romans had written down in the Bible. The scientific revolution based their physical observations from the real world and what they saw to be true. In other words, "Seeing is Believing."
