Glycerol (HOCH2CHOHCH2OH) is used in cosmetics. Do you expect its viscosity to be larger or smaller than the viscosity of ethanol, CH3CH2OH? Why or why not?

Glycerol is predicted to have a higher viscosity. Glycerol is a larger molecule with more instances of hydrogen bonding that lead to stronger intermolecular forces between molecules compared to ethanol.
