Using the x intercepts, we know that the graph will be of a parabola and that y=0 at x=1 and x=5. By the y-intercept, we know that the parabola will be concave down.
We will start with the equation -(x+1)(x+5) which would satisfy the requirements of the x-intercepts and make the parabola concave down. The y-intercept, however, is (0,-5). To change the y-intercept, we will need to stretch the graph which can be done by multiplying the entire equation by 6.
The equation you are looking for is "-6(x+1)(x+5)"
