Answer: x > 6 .
_________________________
Step-by-step explanation:
_________________________

4x + 6 > 30 ; Solve for "x" ;
_________________________

Subtract "6" from both sides of the inequality:
____________________________________
4x + 6
− 6 > 30 − 6 ; to get:
____________________________________
4x > 24 ;
____________________________________
Divide EACH SIDE of the inequality by "4" ; to isolate "x" on one side of the inequality; and to solve the inequality (for "x") ;
__________________________________
4x / 4 > 24 / 4 ; to get:
__________________________________
x > 6 .
