6(b-5) = 12

multiply six with both numbers in brackets.

6b-30=12

6b = 12 + 30

-30 became +30 because it was moved to other side of equal sign.

so.....6b = 42

b=42/6 = 7

SO THE ANSWER WILL BE........D.

GLAD TO HELP ! :)

remmeber you can do anything to an equation as long as you do it to both sides

divide both sides by 6
b-5=2
add 5 to both sides
b=7
