The expression 1 over 2 bh ​gives the area of a triangle where b is the base of the triangle and h is the height of the triangle. What is the area of a triangle with a base of 7 cm and a height of 4 cm?

You have the formula, which is 1/2 x base x height

When we substitute the values in, we get 1/2 x 7 x 4 = 14 square centimetres
