Built in 1599, the Globe Theatre was home to William Shakespeare and his performing company, The Lord Chamberlain’s Men. It was a circular amphitheater that stood 3-stories tall and had a diameter of 100 feet. What formula can you use to calculate the area of the theatre?

The area of one story would be A ≈ 7853.98 ft²

So the area of 3 stories would be 23561.94
