The phrase from the declaration of independence that reflects the Enlightenment principle of natural rights is: B. Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness

The basic enlightenment principle is to transfer the majority of power in society from the government to the hands of the people. This would granted the people with the rights to live, the freedom to conduct their own life and the rights to pursue their own passion and interest to fulfill their self actualization.
