The prominent difference in the cellular structure of both cells is the number of nuclei present in a cell. Osteoblasts have single nucleus while osteoclasts are multinucleated. Osteoblasts help regenerate the bone tissue while osteoclast breaks down these tissue in a process known as resorption.
