Your school is selling tickets for a student concert. Adult tickets (x) cost $6 and student tickets (y) cost $3. A total of $90 was collected on the first day of sales.

3y+6x=90

3y=90-6x

y=30-2x

The x intercept is when y=0, 2x=30, x=15, it represents the maximum possible number of adult tickets sold.

The y intercept is when x=0, y=30, it represents the maximum possible number of student tickets sold.
