Find the area of a square with a diagonal 24 m

The traditional area formula for a square is to square a side.
However, Wkipedia has a formula if you are given just a diagonal:
Area = (diagonal)^2 / 2
Area = (24)^2 / 2
Area = 576 / 2
Area = 288 square meters
