Novels expose the realities of the world from one person's point of view.

The point of view, in general, is the position, the consideration or the attitude, and even the opinion that a subject adopts, about a given fact, object, person or entity, because of the subjective tendency of the subject, the which is inseparable. The point of view is also used as a synonym of perspective and, especially in the artistic context, of "look" or "focus".

The answer would be perspective. For novels to expose the realities of the world, a person's perspective is needed for it is the most essential thing to be able to create an image or a visual that is realistic enough to picture the realities happening in the world.
