Hey!

Hope this helps...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-4x + 5x = -40
y = -4x +5x + 40
y = x + 40
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

by the look of it, after you turn that equation into slope-intercept form (y = mx + b) the intercepts are y = 40 & x = -40

What are the x and y intercepts of the graph of -4x + 5x = -40?-example-1
