the formula for the pH = -log [H+]
where [H+] is the molar concentration of H+ in the HF solution.
so HF --> H+ + F-
[H+] = 5.10 x 10^-2 mol HF ( 1 mol H+ / 1 mol HF)
[H+] = 5.10 x 10^-2 M H+
pH = -log ( 5.10 x 10^-2 )
pH = 1.29
