Rachel Carson's 1962 Silent Spring's topic was about the environment. Where she pointed out the inaccurate information chemical industries provided. She also pointed out the government's leniency to these industries slogans/advertisement without question. This also inspired environmentalist which was the start of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
