The ACT is an entrance exam. It is similar to the examination. It consists of four main sections: English, Mathematics, Reading and Science Reasoning.
The ACT is used to evaluate the academic development of high-school students. Moreover, it is used by colleges and universities. The skills in which this multiple-choice test focuses on are English, Mathematics, Reading and Science Reasoning and the maximum score of each section is 36. The exam can be taken during the spring of the students' junior year or the fall of the students' senior year and it is generally 2 hours and 55 minutes long.
