Why was Mount Olympus important to the greeks

Because they believe that on top of the mountain was Zeus, and all of the gods whom sometimes walked down looking like them. Hope i helped :)

Ancient Greeks believed that Zeus, king of the gods, and his family of deities dwelt on Mount Olympus, but they regarded the mountain more as a figurative space for these gods and goddesses than an actual location on earth.
